Overview

• DAY 01

  Upon arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed and transferred to Negombo. This coastal town is known for its sandy beaches and fishing community. You can enjoy a short city tour covering Dutch Fort, St. Mary’s Church, and the lagoon, before relaxing by the beach in the evening. Overnight stay in Negombo.

• DAY 02

  After breakfast, you will begin your journey towards the Cultural Triangle. On the way, you will visit the famous Dambulla Cave Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. After checking in at your hotel in Sigiriya, you may enjoy a village tour or a traditional Sri Lankan cooking experience as an optional activity. Overnight stay in Sigiriya.

• DAY 03

  Start the day with an early morning climb to the Sigiriya Rock Fortress, also known as the 8th Wonder of the World. In the afternoon, embark on an exciting jeep safari at Minneriya National Park, where you can see elephants and other wildlife. Return to your hotel and relax. Overnight stay in Sigiriya.

• DAY 04

  Today you will travel to Kandy, stopping at a spice garden in Matale along the way. In Kandy, you will visit the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, one of the most sacred places in Sri Lanka. In the evening, enjoy a colorful cultural dance performance before settling into your hotel. Overnight stay in Kandy.

• DAY 05

  After breakfast, you will experience one of the most scenic train journeys in the world, traveling from Kandy/Nanu oya to Ella through tea plantations, mountains, and waterfalls. Once in Ella, you can explore the Nine Arch Bridge and hike up Little Adam’s Peak for breathtaking views. Overnight stay in Ella.

• DAY 06

  In the morning, you will head to the coastal town of Bentota. Here you can relax at the golden beach or try thrilling water sports. Later, enjoy a Madu River boat safari and visit a turtle hatchery before returning to your hotel. Overnight stay in Bentota.

• DAY 07

  After breakfast, you will be transferred to Colombo or Bandaranaike International Airport for your departure, marking the end of your memorable 7-day journey through Sri Lanka.
